RingOut – Location Prompt

If the RingOut option "Prompt me for location before dialing" (RingOut --> Options) was disabled, then any number clicked in the service portal would be dialed as international number. For example, number 650 555 0000 will be dialed as +65 05550000. This has been corrected.

Forwarding Number Issue

Some calls were being forwarded to the mobile contact number for the account but the number was not visible in the service portal. This has been corrected.

Time zone and Timestamp

Changing the time zone in the service portal did not update the timestamp for the current session until the user logged out and logged back in. This has been corrected to reflect the correct time zone in the service portal timestamps.

Adding a Contact to a Group

For some customers, adding a contact to a group did not work. This has been corrected.

411 cost showing up incorrectly

For RingCentral Professional customers with Unlimited Digital Lines, the cost of dialing a 411 local directory number was incorrectly shown as $0 while the actual charge is $1.00. This has been corrected.

Dialing 0 in the Dial by Name directory

Callers who dialed 0 for the operator when connected to a company Dial By Name directory did not hear any custom company greetings. This has been corrected.

E911

While registering a new digital line, when the address entered for E911 emergency services was incorrect, the error message displayed did not convey the actual issue with the address. This has been corrected.

RingOut failing without funds

If a user making a RingOut call did not have enough funds in the account, attempts to add funds would fail in an error on the service portal. This has been corrected.

Exporting Contacts

After exporting contacts once, when some changes were made to the personal contacts and an export is done again on the service portal, the changes were not reflected in the newly exported .csv file. This has been corrected.

Billing Statement Correction

If a customer had non-activated extensions, then the billing statement did not show any additional digital line charges. This has been corrected.

RingMe for UK Customers

For certain Professional Edition customers in the UK, RingMe calls did not forward to the numbers in the answering rules but instead, callers were directed to voicemail. This has been corrected.
